Life continues much as it has over the centuries in this pretty harbour village situated in one of the Pagasitic Gulfs' most attractive bays.

The village itself consists of a cluster of houses and taverns which hug the shoreline. Interspersed along the length of this shoreline are beaches from which one may bathe in the remarkably clear, aquamarine waters of the bay.

A mountain stream cuts through the centre of the village. providing a natural mooring place for the colourful fishing boats which help to ensure that Horto's taverns serve a mouth watering array of dishes. Many pleasant hours may be spent in these simple waterside taverns appreciating the local way of life.
